We’re so excited to host you in Lebanon this summer!

For your planning, the celebrations will consist of:

Welcome Party: evening of Thursday August 7th, Faitroun

Wedding Ceremony and Dinner: Friday August 8th, 5pm, Harissa (church) & Faqra (dinner/party)

Beach Party: afternoon of Saturday August 9th, Jbeil

We hope you’ll be able to come for a few extra days to enjoy and explore Lebanon. We are planning group tours for Wednesday-Friday (August 6th-8th). In addition, we will provide suggestions for activities, things to see, travel agencies, and tours in case you want to explore on your own or schedule private tours.

A few additional notes:

We are carefully monitoring the situation in Lebanon and feel VERY comfortable with the progress that has been made by the new government. Your safety is very important to us, and we would change our plans if we felt this wedding would be risky for our beloved guests.

The airport in Beirut is difficult to navigate in August with the influx of tourists and expats. As such, we will happily provide and cover the cost of an airport escort for you to help expedite your arrival procedures. If you are interested in taking advantage of this service, please email Elias Georges at elias@linkgroup.cc with your inbound flight details.

As of now, US cell phone data plans do NOT work in Lebanon. As such, we recommend you purchase an eSIM for your use while there. We recommend you look at purchasing Monty eSIM or a similar service.

The deadline for booking the hotel’s discounted rate in our room block is June 10th. Please make your reservations before then so that you get the best prices.

Lastly, we want to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe traveling to Lebanon:

• If you book through MEA traveling from US cities via the channels provided below, you will get the best pricing available and the flights will be refundable. MEA can assist you with the best route from any major US city- reach them via the email or phone number contacts below.

• We are closely monitoring the news and understand your safety concerns and hesitations. There will be no hard feelings if you don’t feel comfortable coming.

• You might consider purchasing travel insurance for protection in the event of a need to cancel. Some companies have "cancel for any reason" (CFAR) policies.

• All transportation to wedding events and group tours will be provided to and from the Royal hotel.
